Hong Kong 2017 Travel Budget Itinerary + Breakdown of Expenses

Hello everyone!

My name is Jane and thank you for reading this first post!

I created this travel blog so I could be able to share with you all my travel itineraries. I have a Youtube Channel and I have been getting a lot of comments about my itineraries especially in my HK 2017 Vlog.

So, here is my first entry, my HK-Macau 2017 itinerary. This itinerary was actually not religiously followed because we were actually not able to go to Macau but I think that this itinerary is achievable by everyone. :)

Also, my friends and I have arrived in Hong Kong in different departure dates and time, hence, the arrival of first and second batch in the iti. :)

Day 1: February 6, 2017 - Mon	Arrival - First Batch	Getting There
8:10 PM	Arrival @ HK Airport Terminal 1 Note: Need to buy Octopus Card(can be used in MTR, buses) - On Loan	Where to get Octopus Card? When you arrive at the Hong Kong airport, you can either purchase the Sold Tourist Octopus at the 7-Eleven convenience store or the On-loan Octopus at the special kiosk near the exit to the express train for several reasons: The kiosk staff speak English well.
10:00 PM	ETA - Check In @ Pearl Premium Guest House
	Flat F2, 10/F, Block F, Mirador Mansion, 58 Nathan Road Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong Hong Kong 彌敦道 58 號美麗都大廈F座10字樓F2室, 尖沙咀 (香港,) +852 2368 4525	BY BUS: The bus stop (Ground Transportation Centre) is situated outside the Arrival Hall on the right side. Take Bus A21 to Tsim Sha Tsui. If you take bus A21, Mirador Mansions is about half way between bus stops 13 "Cameron Road, Nathan Road" and 14 "Middle Road, Nathan Road", about 100-metres walk from either stop on the same side of the road. BY MTR: Take MTR from HKIA to TST (take Tsuen Wan Line) Airport to Tsing Yi (Tung Chung Line) to Lai King (Tsuen Wan Line) to Tsim Sha Tsui
Day 2: February 7, 2017 - Tue	Second Batch Arrival + Hong Kong Afternoon City Tour	Getting There
9:20 AM	Arrival @ HK Airport Terminal 1 Note: Need to buy Octopus Card(can be used in MTR, buses) - On Loan(HKD150, HKD50 is refundable)
	Batch 2 - Purchase Macau Ferry Tickets (7:30 AM to Macau and 10:00 PM or 10:30 PM back to Kowloon)	China Ferry Terminal (1/F China Hong Kong City, Tsimshatsui) (33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon) MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit A1
11:00 AM	ETA - Check In @ Pearl Premium Guest House
11:30 AM	Lunch
12:30 PM	Proceed to Nan Lian Garden
1:00 PM ~ 1:40 PM	ETA - Nan Lian Garden	MTR Diamond Hill Station, Exit C2. Follow the signs pointing to Nan Lian Garden.
2:30 PM ~ 3:00 PM	Man Mo Temple	Bus 26 outside Pacific Place at Admiralty to Hollywood Road and get off near Man Mo Temple. MTR Central Station Exit D2 and turn right to Theatre Lane. Walk along Queen's Road Central towards The Center. Then take the Central—Mid-Levels Escalator to Hollywood Road. MTR Sheung Wan Station Exit A2 then walk along Hillier Street to Queen's Road Central. Then proceed up Ladder Street (next to Lok Ku Road) to Hollywood Road to the Man Mo Temple.
3:10 PM ~ 3:40 PM	Experience Old Tram Ride HOP ON: Sheung Wan(Stops for Dried Seafood Shops, Western Market, Midlevel Escalators) HOP OFF: Wan Chai	MTR Sheung Wan Station Exit A2 then walk along Hillier Street to Queen's Road Central. Then proceed up Ladder Street (next to Lok Ku Road) to Hollywood Road to the Man Mo Temple.
3:50 PM ~ 4:40 PM	Ani-Com Park@Harbour"FUN"	MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A5, walk along the footbridge of O’Brien Road, pass through Immigration Tower and Central Plaza to the Convention Plaza. Turn right and head straight to the footbridge to Great Eagle Centre. Get off the footbridge on the first exit. From there, follow the signs and head to Ani-Com Park@Harbour“FUN” through Fleming Road and Expo Drive East.
	Golden Bauhinia Square & HKCEC	MTR Wan Chai Station Exit A5, walk along the footbridge of O’Brien Road, pass through Immigration Tower and Central Plaza to the Convention Plaza and HKCEC. Turn right and head straight to the footbridge to Great Eagle Centre. Get off the footbridge on the first exit. From there, follow the signs and head to Golden Bauhinia Square through Fleming Road and Expo Drive East.
5:00 PM ~ 5:30 PM	Hong Kong Observation Wheel	MTR Hong Kong Station, Exit A2 or MTR Central Station, Exit A. Walk to the site along Man Yiu Street; or, Central Pier 7, walk to Pier 9, which is next to the wheel.
6:00 PM ~ 6:30 PM	Clock Tower	MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit E. Walk towards Salisbury Road, then turn right and take the subway (pedestrian tunnel) located next to the YMCA to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Turn right again and walk straight ahead towards the waterfront; or, Star Ferry from Central or Wan Chai and follow the signs. The Clock Tower is located next to the Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier.
6:50 PM ~ 7:50 PM	Dinner near Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
8:00 PM ~ 9:00 PM	Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade - Wait for 8PM, Symphony of Lights	Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade outside the Hong Kong Cultural Centre: MTR East Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit L6. Follow the signs and walk for around five minutes.
	Avenue of Stars	Temporary Place for Stars: Visitors taking the MTR should go to the East Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit J that connects to the Starry Gallery. Alternatively, the Starry Gallery can be accessed via the subway entrance (along Nathan Road) next to The Peninsula Hotel. (Via SOGO Department Store B1/F), or through the subway entrance (along Nathan Road) next to the Sheraton Hotel.
9:20 PM ~ 10:30 PM	Temple Street Market	MTR Yau Ma Tei Station, Exit C, turn onto Temple Street at Man Ming Lane; or, MTR Jordan Station, Exit A. Turn right onto Jordan Road and then take another right onto Temple Street.
10:30 PM	Head Home	Jordan MTR - use Tsuen Wan Line to TST MTR
Day 3: February 8, 2017 - Wed	DISNEYLAND DAY!	Getting There
7:00 AM ~ 8:00 AM	Breakfast
8:20 AM ~ 9:20 AM	Kowloon Park	MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station, Exit A1; or MTR Jordan Station, Exit C1, walk along Nathan Road towards Tsim Sha Tsui to Austin Road.
10:30 AM	ETA - Hong Kong Disneyland! 9:30 AM - 9:00 PM (Fireworks - 8-9pm)	Take the Tsuen Wan MTR train towards Tsuen Wan Get off at Lai King Station Transfer to Tung Chung line. The train should be Tung Chung-bound. Alight at Sunny Bay Station. Transfer to Disneyland Resort Line.
9:30 PM	Head Home	Tsuen Wan Line to TST MTR
Day 4: February 9, 2017 - Thu	MACAU DAY TOUR	Getting There

	Po Lin Monastery	MTR Tung Chung Station Exit B, then take Ngong Ping Cable Car, which takes around 25 minutes. Then walk for around 10 minutes to the monastery; or, MTR Tung Chung Station Exit B, then take New Lantao Bus 23 from Tung Chung Town Centre, which takes around 45 minutes. Then walk for eight minutes; or, catch ferry from Central Pier 6 to Mui Wo, then take New Lantao Bus 2 to Ngong Ping Village, which takes around 40 minutes.

3:00 PM ~ 6:00 PM	Victoria Peak	By Foot – From MTR Central Station Take the MTR to Central and make your way to the J2 exit of the Central MTR station. Turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen’s Road Central and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John’s Cathedral on your right before arriving at the terminus, which is to your left. By Bus to Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus Board the Peak Tram shuttle bus No. 15C at the Central(Near Star Ferry Pier 7) Bus Terminus. Daily : 10:00 am to 11:40 pm(from Man Kwong Street outside Central(Pier 7) ) Daily : 10:15am to 11:55pm(from Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus) Frequency : 15 to 20 minutes Fare : HK$4.20 Where to purchase : All tickets are sold at Garden Road Peak Tram Lower Terminus or appointed travel agents. Peak Tram Upper Terminus (The Peak Tower) sells Peak Tram tickets only. Peak Tram Operating Hours : 7 am to 12 midnight (Mon - Sun & Public Holidays) Frequency : Departs every 10 to 15 minutes.
